On iresumeapp’s Homepage, click on the “Create your account”. You will be directed to Sign up page. Enter your name, a valid email address, password of your choice and confirm your password.

Once you log in to your account, you will be presented with a dashboard screen. Click on the “Resumes” section. In the Resume Section, click on the “Add New Resume” button. You will be presented with a step-by-step resume building wizard where you can fill the details.

From App –

Once you create your account and logged in, you will be presented with a step-by-step resume building wizard. Here, you may skip unwanted sections. After filling details in all the sections, you will be directed to the dashboard screen where you can see the list of created resumes.

On the Dashboard, by clicking on the “plus” icon  of Resumes Section, you can create another resume with the step-by-step wizard.

From Website –

After logging in to your account, click on the “Resumes” section situated on the dashboard. You will be presented with the list of created resumes. Click on the “Edit” button in front of the resume that you required to edit. All the resume sections will be displayed.

From App –

After logging in to the App, you will be directed to the dashboard. On the dashboard, click on the “Resumes” section. You will be presented with the list of created resumes. By clicking on a particular resume, you will see an action sheet that will help you manage/edit your resume with the below options.

View Resume - For viewing the resume in HTML and PDF format.

Edit Resume - To edit the particular section like work history, education, skills, achievements, own section.

Rename - To rename the resume.

Delete - For deletion of the resume.

      

From Website –

Resume sections consist education, work experience, skills, achievements and own sections. You can change the order of these sections simply by holding a particular section and dragging it up or down. You may reorder all the sections except the “Personal Details” section.

From App –

In the “Edit Section”, click on the “sort” button which is located on the top navigation bar. You will be redirected to the sorting of the sections. By clicking on the “Move” button, bar line will be appeared. Select a particular section, drag it and drop at your desired place. You may reorder all the sections, except the “Personal Details” section.

       

From Website –

Yes. You may create own/custom sections in your resume. For example, Hobbies, Awards, Language known etc. Simply, click on the “Add New” button and create your own/custom sections.

From App-

Go to the “Edit Section”. Click on the “Own Sections Details”. You will be presented with the list of own sections. On the top right side of the navigation bar, click on the “Plus” icon. You will be redirected to “Create a New Own Section”. Change the title “Own Section” to your own/custom section name, enter the description and save it.

If you require a bullet format in “Own Section”, then write another description under the same title and save it. All the description that you have entered and save will be shown automatically in the bullet format.

       

From Website –

You can change the text font and size of your resume text easily while previewing your resume. You can also select different types of resume layout/templates to improve the appearance of your resume.

From App –

You can change the font of your resume text, simply by clicking on the “Font” button.

 From website -

You can attach your resume to your email directly from “preview” page. You can also download your resume in PDF, HTML, DOC, ODT format. However, you need to purchase full version of the application in order to process these activities.

 

From App –

You can easily send your resume as an email attachment only in a PDF format.  

From App –

You can take a print out of your resume directly from your device. Click on the “Share” icon located on your preview screen. You will be presented with the dialog box that contains print and copy options.

 

 

 

Yes. You need to purchase/upgrade the full version of this application in order to utilize its complete potentiality. With the free version, you can create multiple resumes, cover letters, follow up/thank you letters and resignation letters. You can also access all resume templates. However, in order to send your resume as an email attachment, you need to purchase/upgrade the full version of this application that cost a minimal amount of $4.99 only for a lifetime.  

No. If you have already purchased any previous version, then you no need to purchase/upgrade the full version again. Simply, log in to the application and click on the “Restore Purchases” option that is available on the dashboard. It will check out with your iTunes account and your account will be activated automatically.
